Hattie Jean Jacques and John Le Mesurier are two of Britain’s most beloved comedy actors. Le Mesurier is their son. After his appearance on Living TV’s reality series Rehab (2009), Le Mesurier gained a large following. He opened up about his struggle with alcoholism.

He recorded two tracks for Johnny Hallyday’s 1994 English-language debut record Rough Town. In addition to being Hallyday’s musical advisor, he also founded the Farm Dogs group with Bernie Taupin & Jim Cregan.

Le Mesurier, at the start of his collaborations with Rod Stewart was primarily a guitarist-technical and session man. In 1976, he signed with an affiliated record company to Rod Stewart. In 1977, he toured the US as the opening act for Rod Stewart’s Air Supply. He was then invited to join Rod Stewart’s group in 1980 after a stint with Lion.

In September 2015, Le Mesurier joined Rod Stewart and Rolling Stone Ron Wood for the Faces reunion.
