Following her time at the time as a contestant, she earned an education in Journalism from Universidad de la Sabana in Bogota. She became a member of CNN in 1992. There, she was the anchor of Noticiero Telemundo CNN After the affiliation with Telemundo she remained with CNN and was also the anchor of CNN Internacional. After CNN en Espanol was founded in 1997, she was the main anchor for news.
