P. K. Sam is one of the most popular and richest American Football Player who was born on February 26, 1983 in Denver, Colorado, United States. Philip Kenwood “P. K.” Sam, II (born on February 26, 1983) is a former professional gridiron soccer wide receiver. He was last with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League in the year 2011. He was selected for the New England Patriots in the fifth round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played for the college team during his time at Florida State.
Following his release from the team as a free agent his season Sam got signed by the Cincinnati Bengals in February 2006. He received two passes for 23, which was his sole reception of the preseasonin the Bengals’ final game of the exhibition in the match against Indianapolis Colts. The team then released him in September.
Despite a new head coach, Sam was re-signed to a future contract by the Dolphins in February 2007. He played for the Rhein Fire of NFL Europa in the spring. On May 15, Sam was named the NFL Europa Offensive Player of the Week after racking up 122 yards and a touchdown in a 27-24 victory over the Frankfurt Galaxy. Sam was ultimately a final training camp cut of the Dolphins.
On September 4, 2008, Sam was a free agent signing of the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League and was assigned to their practice roster. On September 20, he made his CFL debut against the Calgary Stampeders and ended the 2008 CFL season playing in six games and made 36 receptions for 499 yards and three touchdowns.
After training with his team the St. Louis Rams in October of 2006 Sam was signed by the Miami Dolphins and was placed on the practice squad of the team. In the course of the 2006 season, Sam was forced to miss a few games for personal reasons . He was dismissed, however, the team re-signed him shortly after and finished in the same position on the team. In the year 2016, Sam alleged that he was let go for not attending an exercise to visit his father who was dying.

Sam was chosen as the 164th overall selection during the 5th round in 2004’s NFL Draft out of Florida State University by the New England Patriots. In his debut year, Sam was inactive for six games prior to being put on the reserve list due to a groin injury. Then, in January of 2005 Sam was placed on reserve list/suspended list due to a violation in team regulations.
