Mindaugas Kalonas is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on February 28, 1984 in Vilnius, Lithuania. Mindaugas Kalonas, a Lithuanian football player, was born 28 February 1984 in Varena (Lithuanian SSR Soviet Union). He last played for Sillamae Kalev.
He signed a three-year contract with FC Metalurh Zaporizhya in 2009. Kalonas played 11 games in his first season and scored one goal against FC Metalurh Donetsk. Kalonas was admitted to Polish I liga side Stomil Olsztyn on 23 July 2012.
On 10 June 2014, Kalonas joined Hapoel Haifa on a two-year contract. After only six-months in Israel, Kalonas returned to Latvia, signing a one-year contract with LMT Virslīga side Skonto FC.
In January 2013 Kalonas joined Azerbaijan Premier League side Ravan Baku, scoring 8 goals in 13 league games. At the end of the 2012-13 season Kalonas moved to Baku FC. In November 2013, Kalonas was named Lithuania Player of the Year for the first time. After moving to FK Baku in the summer of 2013, Kalonas joined Simurq PIK on loan, for the remainder of the season, on 4 February 2014.
After a stint with FC Kuban Krasnodar he signed for FK Riga. He played for FK Riga in the UEFA Intertoto Cup where he impressed Bohemian F.C. manager Pat Fenlon. He signed a contract with Bohs on 31 July 2008. On 1 August 2008, he made his debut for the Gypsies at Dalymount Park in a 3-0 victory over the Cobh Ramblers. Kalonas was able to adapt well to the League of Ireland, scoring his first goal for Bohs with a 2-0 victory over Galway United on 22 Aug. He also scored against Romania in the 2010 world cup qualifying. He quickly became a fan favorite, scoring the winning goal in a match against Shamrock Rovers as well as the winning penalty in a shootout to win The Double against Derry City. He was also the first Lithuanian to participate in an FAI Cup final.
