Martino is signed with his team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on May 11 in 2016. On September 3 on the 3rd of September in 2016 he was let go by the Buccaneers in the final roster cuts. The following day, he was added to the Buccaneers practice team. The 21st of September, 2016 He was promoted into the roster of active players. His release date was the 3rd of October on the 3rd of October, 2016. He was then re-signed as a practice team member on the 17th of October 16. He was promoted back onto an active roster the 22nd of October the 22nd of October, 2016. He scored his first touchdown pass in the game against his team the Chicago Bears on November 13 in 2016.
