In his rookie season in 2002, Branch started 7 of 13 games played for the Patriots, missing the final three games of the regular season with a leg injury. In 2003, Branch started 11 of 15 games played for the Patriots, missing only the team’s Week 6 game against the Tennessee Titans with an injury.
