Dean Tuftin is one of the most popular and richest Singer who was born on November 28, 1970 in Drayton Valley, Alberta, Canada. Tuftin is also a skilled team roper. He is the two-time champion of the Canadian Team Roping Championship and took home in the United States Team Roping Championships US Open Tour in 2003.

The album he released as his debut “Not So Little Anymore” was released in 2002 through Stolen Horse Records and distributed to brick and mortar stations in Canada by way of two distribution deals One with Sextant Records/EMI Music Canada and the second with Royalty Records. An unplanned meeting in Nashville between the songwriter and an industry veteran resulted in the Tuftin camp engaging the services of the former Warner Music Canada label rep Greg Balec in attempts to gain traction on country radio. A lead single was released through radio station chains across Canada and produced an Top 20 hit out of the box. The first song, “Talk Is Cheap” was a hit with music executives across the country in a panic, making desperate calls to purchase the song. Tuftin was able to follow that success by releasing “I’m Not So Little Anymore,” which soared to the Top 10, then charted with two singles “You Can’t” and “In Her Eyes.” It was in 2005 that the lead track “Wide Open Highway” from his upcoming album was able to reach the number. number 1 position at the top of the Radio & Records Canadian country singles chart. Tuftin began his journey with Tuftin’s membership in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) in the year 1996. He played in the PRCA in 1999 2003, 2003 and 2006, 2007 and 2010. As we mentioned earlier, he was awarded his first United States Team Roping Championships US Open Tour. 2007 was the year he was partnered with 8-time World Champion Speed Williams in the team roping competition.

Together, they qualified for the National Finals Rodeo (NFR); he was the first Canadian to qualify in team roping. They attended the NFR at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2007, winning the 8th Round and coming in 11th in the Average. He retired from the PRCA in 2010.
