Cam Janssen is one of the most popular and richest Ice Hockey Player who was born on April 15, 1984 in St. Louis, United States. Cameron Wesley Janssen, born April 15, 1984, is an American former professional ice hockey athlete who played in the National Hockey League with the New Jersey Devils (NHL), and the St. Louis Blues (NHL). The New Jersey Devils selected him 117th in the fourth round 2002 NHL Entry Draft. Janssen was considered an enforcer.
Janssen struck Tomas Kaberle in the head with a late hit during the second period of a regular-season game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Kaberle was taken off the ice by a stretcher. Janssen was suspended by the NHL for three games and forfeited $7,220.16. Kaberle stated that Janssen had not reached out to him for reconciliation and continued, “I don’t care [to hear] from him.” He doesn’t like me, and I don’t like him.”
A free agent after his contract with the St. Louis Blues expired in 2011, Janssen signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Devils on July 14, 2011 becoming the 22nd player to be re-acquired and play for the team.
In July 2012, Janssen appeared on an internet-based radio show called “The Thom and Jeff Show” and subsequently delivered a profanity-laced interview in which he made several controversial comments, including one about gay players. Janssen was injured in a fight against Riley Cote, Philadelphia Flyers. He missed four games. He was able to return for the playoffs against Tampa Bay Lightning. Janssen sustained an injury in the 2007 NHL preseason, also in a fight against Jesse Boulerice.

The Windsor Spitfires selected Janssen in the third round, 2001, of the Ontario Hockey League draft. Janssen, who was finishing his senior year at Eureka High School in Ontario, moved to Windsor, Ontario, to start his first season as a Spitfire.
